hey everybody, it's been a while. I just wanna start off by saying disregarding that last post, i was just raging on my blog, but more so than usual.
GOOD NEWS! Winter is coming! That means that i get to play judo! YAYY!!! good chance to incease my strength and know how to flip peoples!!!
in other good news, head of the river (private school rowing carnival in short) was very fun. I am partially deaf and severely dehydrated, but was good fun all the same. Lots of school rivalry going on, but i did notice the the fun police for our school were ruining the festivities and the bloodlust a tiny bit. .. I was also kept in the dark about a few people turning up that i know, but that's another thing altogether...
I just wanna bring forward the topic of the rating games/movies for jsut one teensy second. Ok, well lately, some hackers have been messing around with the rating for australian games website. Apparently they had muddled up links, etc, defaced the main page, etc...
The aim of this apparently was to protest for double standards for games beign included into other fields of entertainment.
THis is right and wrong (that's right, i'm fence sittin!) They're right, because it should be double standard. Games ndeserve to ahve the same rights and agreements as any other media outlet, not just movies, etc. Plus, games need ratings, it's becoming more and more frequent that people's mental status have declined a bit since the release of unrated violent, etc, games.
But it's also bad. By vandalizing a government owned site, it shows immaturity and why gaming maybe shouldn't get the double standard that it deserves. It also puts the gaming community in a bad light.
Overall though, i do agree, gamers deserve the rights to the same rights and treatments as most media outlets, instead of being treated second rate.
In better news, HOUSE PARTAAYYY ON FRIDAY NIGHT!! GET SMAAAAAAASHED!

NEW BEGINNINGS! and outlooks for the future...
Hey everyone, i think I'm sick :( had a little fever this morning, but oddly enough, it was over by lunchtime :S
anyhow, i have soem pretty good news (well maybe), I'm thinking about making game reviews with a few of my mates to be posted up on here. We're all pretty big game enthusiasts and this would probably be a good way to express throughts and opinions. But i still don't quite know whether i'd be consistent with it. It's a work in progress.
In another topic. I've noticed that people are relatively scared or very consious of change. I've noticed this very frequently as i have talked heaps of people about CHANGE. Don't get me wrong, not all change is good. Read "Cynic Flawfinder", his blog posts are very thought provoking and ingenious. He talks about how change is coming and give his bottom line of it.
Personally, most changes have been quite good. Obama was elected, and doing his utmost to help this world financial crisis (a bad change). Obama is also an excellent chang ebecause he is breaking this chain of a sort of 'whites only' feel to america. Every american president has been a caucasian man, and it is good to see Obama. He is part, and represents a minority in America. He is a symbol also of world development. No longer does racism occur in the free world, Obama represents change not just in major world issues, but social issues too, about how even a black man will be elected.
But there are also bad changes happening in this world of ours. Bringe drinking and drug use in AUstralia and America have been on the rise, the world economic crisis isn't getting any better, and the end isn't in sight (ok that's not really a change). But overall, change is getting better.
Facebook (the ultimate distractor and time eater) has got anew facebook, and as predicted, the people have cried out in agony and rage. For those who bithc and complain i say to you: Grow up, change is bound to happen, Facebook wouldn't change something to make it worse, it isn't logical. I doubt facebook is going to keep the same user interface forever, and there is almost nothing you can do about it.
These changes have mostly been for the better, and some for the worse. But i believe that if society can keep persevereing, do its utmost to exceed boundaries in growth, and Obama continue to do his best with the financial crisis at hand, then my prospects for the future are very bright and positive.

LIGHTER NOTE!
well, on a lighter note, i'm hopefully going to japan at the end of this year! it'll kidna just be me and someone else (not choi!) to go study in japan for a month maybe, and just live at a home stay
also, my mate patrick is a really good dancer, and i got a video of him (it's on my phone), he's doing the robot, and i have to admit, it's pretty damn good.
moar good news, i'm getting a new video card soon hopefully. somewhere in the nvidia 9000+ series (nothing too expensive) so that means one thing...OVER CLOCK BIATCH! IMA OVERCLOCK THE VIDEO CARD TO DA MAX!!! FUCK THE OVERHEATING!
but on a darker note, my mates brother mitch 4got to get me a fuckign ticket to the presets in april! argh! hopefully there'll be a spare one lying about...
on a lighter note once again, i've managed to get my age of reckoning account back online, so i can now completely kill off my social life and focus on online gaming, i can finally be that guy who live in that basement, allergic to the light and wears a cape when on the computer!

trolls, don't feed them
There's this one guy in my year, he's a mate of mine, but i'm pretty concerned for him. Once he reads this he will think i'm 'butthurt' for mentioning him without saying a name.
I'm concerned for this guy cuz he spends a lot of time 'trolling'. For those who don't know, google that shit. Anyways, i have to say he's pretty good, he can be pretty funny about it, and knows how to troll like a pro. But whenever i talk to him..it seems to be 'troll' this and 'troll' that, i don't think he has much else to think about.
Don't get me wrong, this guy is kinda nice, good at computers, but has no real social life at school, but has an extended social life on the internet. He believes that by continuing to troll people he knows, that will somehow make his social life better in some weird way. He hangs out wtih this one year 7 kid whom i feel sorry for because he doesn't seem to know the real person he trolls with (he's kidna like his personal pet).

Raving about random people
There are people in this world, who think being random and REAAALLLY weird is funny
this is a major misconception, as these people deserve nothing but a lecture (no prob) on how life will never turn out well for them, as being random has never helped anyone
a particular kid in my year is like this. he likes to 'chime' into conversations having nothing to do with him and be a relatively strong attention whore. 2 years pass, and my tolerance runs out, so i tell him off, with a lucrative but well structured argument outlining his major malfunction.
and he replies with this very well thoguht out rebuttle:
'Yeah, you're angry like Mr.Crabs in Spongebob, heeeheee, YIPPEEE!!! I LOOOVE POKEMON! PIKA PIKA!
it is at this point where my anger rises over 9000 in the power levels, and i leave without a word.
Now, don't get me wrong, i think that spongebob is a very entertaining, eventful and fucktastic show, but...to continuiously, mention him in everything..then hit off on a tangent....is...infuriating at least.
so, here's my solution, and it has worked for a while now, and i ahve dealt with the 'rpoblem' for some time now
Talk to him in a cool, calm and collective voice, saying 'hey ____, i know how cool spongebob and the other stuff you mention is, but i don't think anyone likes you, personally, i think being random, stopped being funny the first time you started being it, it is very distasteful, immature and you are a bad person. It hurts my ears everytime you say those things, and make me want to put my fist in your mouth everytime you open it, so please my dear classmate, i am asking you as a human being to stop, i beg you good sir'
...this time he walked away without a word...

and many people keep closed about it in fear that it will occur to them by eavesdroppers.
well i just thought i'd get the fear ball rolling to hopefully help people who read this get over their fears by just talking...
My fears:
well here's the thing, y'know when you walk from the middle of the row in the movie, and leave the cinema to go to the toilet? well the thing is, i always get scared cause i'm afraid the person behind me will put something in me, thru my anus, horrible thoughts ensue
lemme just give you some time to laugh and think about it....
are we good? sweet...
k, so that's pretty much my fear, i don't like the thought of people doing things behind me because i keep thinking they're going to put something in me, so i keep my hand in my pockets in the cinema, and try my hardest to get over it...
well i've shared my fears with you, so please, tell one another your fears, because i do feel a little better about it, now that i've shared my funny yet perculiar fear with you all
a few weeks ago, i got a rip in the back of my pants, dead centre on my butt... a nightmare come true
